4 More Best Face Care Tips

We all want to put our best face forward, but sometimes it requires a little more work than other times. If you start a face care regime that you can stick to, you’ll find that it ends up not being as much work as you might have thought.

For best face care tips, take note of a few important ones below. This might be information that you already know, but a reminder doesn’t hurt!

Freckles
A common problem – especially for fair-skinned people. Sometimes freckles can be cute, but sometimes they are red and angry looking. Cute or not, you should always wear sunblock of at least a SPF 15 and put it on about a half hour before you go outside – EVERY day. Clouds or not, the sun will blast your skin with dangerous UV rays that over time could cause skin cancer if consistently left unprotected. Rough Looking Skin
For a good home remedy for skin that has become rough on your face, follow this recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of yogurt
- juice from 1/2 of a lemon
- 5-6 drops of honey.

What to do: Mix everything together and apply to your face. Lie down for 20 minutes. Turn on some music. Close your eyes and enjoy a short break. After 20 minutes, wash off your face with warm water, then cold water. You won’t believe how soft your skin will feel. Do this on a daily basis if possible. The benefits of the mixture plus the break you give yourself go well beyond smoothing the skin, it also smooths away tension!

Another tip for rough skin: Before you go to bed, mix up 2 teaspoons of milk with 1 teaspoon of salt and apply it to your face. Leave it on overnight. In the morning, your face will feel less rough. Again, do this nightly if possible.

Dark Circles Under the Eyes
Very simple. Before you go to bed each night and after you have washed your face, gently massage your favorite eye cream into the areas underneath your eyes. The skin under your eyes is very sensitive, so you must use the fingers next to your pinky fingers to massage. This puts the least amount of pressure on the skin under your eyes.

Blackheads
We all just love the nasty little blackhead don’t we? Here’s an interesting fact: blackheads cannot be removed permanently, but their growth can be retarded. Here are a few home remedy ideas on how you can prevent and remove blackheads.

- Mix one teaspoonful of groundnut oil with one teaspoonful of fresh lime juice and apply on the face to prevent formation of blackheads.

- Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup of hot water, 1 teaspoonful of Epsom salts and 4 drops of iodine. Allow the mixture to cool. Then, dip a cotton ball into the mixture and apply it to the blackheads and the surrounding areas. When the mixture is completely dry, gently remove it with a soft, clean cloth.

- Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice into 1 teaspoon of finely ground cinnamon. Apply on the blackhead areas as frequently as you are able to.
